The very fact that you think people feel they need to "come out" strongly

need to admit to it.

It seems to me to be the homosexuals themselves who feel the need to
make a thing of "coming out".

Of course; because living a lie is emotionally toxic, and emerging into
truth is still not greeted with universal pleasure. Gay people are still
discriminated against in profound and nasty ways. Deciding to live in the
light of day can have nasty and irreverible consequences. I think that
fully justifies making a thing of it.

What you ignore, of course, are the announcements of their orientation that
hetties make day in and day out. But that's OK, isn't it?

There was an actress in the news about a
week ago who did this by making an announcement at some event or other
and it was in all the papers. My first thought was "Who?", and my
second was "Who cares?"

Well, homphobes do, for a start.
And other gay people do, as it affords them a moment of validation.
Simples!

You do not have a very persuasive manner.

You are beyond reasoning with so sometimes you just have to say, "stop
being a ****."

I am not beyond reasoning if you put forward a half-decent argument. But
I can't really take seriously the hypocritical reactions of those here
who pretend to deny the BBC leftist bias whilst secretly being glad of it.

No dearie, you are beyond reason in that you either refuse to or cannot
understand the damage that your obsessive posting can do to an otherwise
peaceful group like uk.d-i-y .

It is not a political forum and to post here as you have, under whatever
tag, is abusive.

Is it some kind of arrogance that makes you think your views are so
important that they must be heard among the populace in whatever forum
you visit, regardless of relevance?

Fortunately, for the moment, you are in the minority in uk.d-i-y as the
regulars there either do not have obsessive agendas or they are too well
mannered to inflict obsessive views upon the followers of that group. If
others were as ill mannered as you then that excellent group would be in
chaos, a hundred or so regulars spouting forth on whatever whacky topic
that might cross their mind and there would be no on-topic content left.

That is the reason I challenge and will continue to challenge your
inappropriate posting in uk.d-i-y .

I can't recall anyone ever making an announcement to the effect that
they were heterosexual, and neither have I ever felt the need to do so
myself. I can't imagine why it would be of interest to anyone other
than a potential partner, and the matter can usually be made quite
clear to them without the need to announce it to the world.

Utterly clueless, like most hetties.

Enlightenment would be more helpful than insult.
