Default Reservoir Dogs - Cant select to record

Search by Title (or any other method) and try to select this movie,
brings me right back to TiVo central.
3.1X DSR7000 DirecTiVo

Anyone else?

Yes. I tried it as soon as I read your post. Weird. FYI - Sony SAT-T60 here.

I cant even pull it up in a search. Do you have a channel listed in your
Favorites that you in fact do not receive?

No, I get every movie channel. I cant even bring up the info screen.
Even when something is on a channel I dont get (ABCW for instance) I
can still see the info, even schedule a recording. Pressing select on
the title search screen kicks me right out to Tivo Central.

What's this stuff about people being "released on their own recognizance"?
Aren't we all out on our own recognizance?

Sorry, can't reproduce the problem, probably because my SA Philips
called in at 6:37am PDT on Saturday, Sep 27.

I bet that if you force a Daily Call now, the problem will disappear
as soon as the Indexing phase is complete.

I had noticed a similar problem Wednesday night / Thursday morning.
I had forced a Daily Call to see if "Enterprise" would go away.
It was still in the Search By Title list, but with no episodes.
When I went to Live TV and the Guide, next week's show was listed
as "Star Trek Enterprise". It had a full screen Upcoming Program
screen, but selecting View Upcoming Episodes caused an immediate
return to TiVo Central.

My guess is that the database had an indexing error. Something that under
typical Linux programming would cause "segmentation fault; core dumped".
Here it appears to setjump() to the top of the main loop in that TiVo
returned to the main screen: TiVo Central.

For anyone else who wants to respond to this thread: Include the time
of last successful phone call and/or last successful service download
from the System Information screen.
-Joe

After seeing this post I checked out the system info and noticed
indexing completed at 7:21pm this evening (Saturday 27). I went to
search for Reservoir Dogs and came up empty. The daily call was earlier
this morning (Saturday 27 2:31am) so I guess it takes quite a while to
index (17 hours)?

One of the advantages of the Series 2 is with double the memory and a
faster processor, indexing is much faster.

So a new DSR7000 DirecTivo has less memory than a series 2? thats kind
of silly I would think. What are the other advantages to increased
memory beside a quicker index? Is the memory upgradeable, is it worth
it?
