I can't believe he just wandered in and they gave it to him! The
teardown should be interesting when it comes though.

As he said what else could they do with it?

Would probably cost them to have a scrappy take it away and would be
more trouble than it is worth to dismantle and reuse any bits that were
suitable.

Have seen him do a few tear-downs probably the first one was a bank's
hard drive. Something like quarter of a million quid and 2 Gig.

I tried to get hold of a souvenir UHF EMI-slot, when Arqiva dumped
Hannington's old GRP aerial cylinder in a field next to the mast as part of
DSO work. Didn't manage to, all I was allowed to do was photograph it, through
the security fence.
