Default 2 different speed Hard drives

Does anyone else here have a tivo using one 5400 hard drive and another that
is 7200? Or is that even workable? I had an impossible time finding any
5400 drives, much less of a decent size.

Don't worry about the RPM ratings as long as they are modern
drives. Many newer 7200RPM drives run just as cool as 5400RPM
drives did a couple years ago and some are even cooler and quieter
due to newer technology.

I am running a Maxtor 5400 and Maxtor 7200. They are both 120gb. No
Problems.

I'm running a 7200 120gb Maxtor "Quietdrive", alongside the original
40gb. Seems OK so far and it's been a few weeks now.
