Default BT Sport on Freeview?

What on earth are they doing.

Seems a bit strange. I watched the trailers round once and never saw any
mention of it in audio, if that is the right way to put it. Also both those
sky channels now say discontinued I noticed.

they are only free for bt people though - stick them on freeview and
anyone can watch.

I imagine they have some kind of restriction, but the promo channel does not
so they can hook in more people to bt.
So in effect then bt are using a freview channel to plug its service.
