Default Top-Up TV anyone?

Is there anyone out there actually got TUTV?
I've notice most electrical like CurrysPCWorld don't seem to sell any
TUTV PVR hardware, and now Sky battle with BT have seen the sports
channels being pulled from the platform.

Will it be soon joining ON/ITV Digital in the afterlife.

i'm amazed it's still running - at the time of launch the cost vs what
they offered seemed crazy.

To the best of my knowledge I am not, and have never been acquainted
with anyone who has subscribed to any of those terrestrial pay
services.

I joined up with TUTV about three years ago to get Sky Sports 1 and 2
when they first began available on DTT. Conveniently, I already had a
TUTV-compatible PVR, which I had been bought as a birthday present a
couple of years before when I decided that it was time to get Freeview.
I'm now jumping ship for Sky, as I can't bear the thought of not being
able to watch the Ashes.

I believe that no new TUTV boxes have been made for a couple of years
now, and all that are available are reconditioned ones. Without their
sport, TUTV have little to offer, and I can't see them lasting much
longer.

I joined it many years ago when there was an offer but left again when
I realised I had never watched any of the programmes !!!

Oh good, the released bandwidth will no doubt be used for more
spinning roulette wheels and fortune tellers.

Or squirming slappers inviting you to phone them. It seems incredible
to me that anyone could be enticed to pay for that either, unless
there are a lot of really really desperate people out there.

Substitute drunk for desperate perhaps?
