IMO not in Freesat mode. In what way is it easier to use Sky?


Ahhh, If you mean the extra functionality & not the extra channels then
I'd agree. But having to switch to non-Freesat mode to view the
non-Freesat-EPG channels is less than optimal.

full list of channels you have to switch between them somehow.

We have two Humax PVRs one for Freesat and one for Dutch cable. Both
work with either of the controllers supplied. Neither controller
works when bright sunlight shines on the PVRs.
Something else that isn't in the manual.

They probably presume that the box is in the same sunlight-free corner
as the TV usually is.
