Actively considering replacing existing Panasonic TV with one of these two 42" models. http://www.johnlewis.com/panasonic-v...-hd/p231568176 http://www.johnlewis.com/panasonic-v...?colour=Silver I appreciate that the first is a plasma model with built-in Freeview and Freesat HD tuners and the second is LED and has built-in Freeview only. Other than the lower power consumption is there any particular reason for spending the 150ukp on the LED model? I am not really interested in 3D or the 'smart' options? We currently only use Freeview but Freesat may be of use if the 4G introduction causes problems with our Ch60 stations. I would rather stay with Panasonic as we are used to the eccentric user interface. -- rbel |
