Christ. Are there no theatrical agents in that part of the world who can
use your talent?

Apparently I'm too highbrow for the masses.

The housing shortage is the result of Labour's policy of filling the
country with immigrants.

The Conservatives started filling the country with immigrants, because
as now they were a source of cheaper labour. The current government
has not succeeded in stopping the incoming flow.

Immigration under the Tories was tiny compared to the hordes that Labour
let in. The poor know this full well, and when they see their own parts
of town taken over why they can't even get a council house, and when
they can't get the operation they need because the waiting lists are
full of geriatric Pakistanis who've never paid a penny into the NHS,
they become understandably resentful.
There's nothing wrong with immigration, but the numbers have to be
manageable. When the infrastructure and social provision can't cope
that's when you get resentment.

The Labour Party did not even exist when this started :-

There was no problem with immigration until the trickle turned into a flood.

Aboriginal peoples in Australasia & North America would probably agree

The funeral is next week, after that she will be buried at sea* - a
precautionary measure to discourage people from trying to dance on her
grave.

* Bottom of the Mariana Trench hopefully - we don't want to take any
chances on a resurrection.

I'm damned sure they would. No-one likes having their country over-run
by foreigners.

You may well be right...
:-(

I just wish that I (or anyone I've ever met for that matter) had _any_
confidence on what they'll do if they get in. Seems to me it will be
more of the same old same.

They are all the same property owning representative Parties, just with
different colours

As UKIP have a different Dogma,

So did David Sutch...

i'll probably vote for them

Yep. Won't it be great when all those ex-pats get shipped back here from
all over Europe?

They won't be. You only have to be able to support yourself to be
allowed to live in an EU country. There were plenty of expats living
in mainland Europe before UK joined the EU.

voting for a party like UKIP is a complete and utter waste of time, for
gods sake stop looking at the short term that suits you and go for the
long term.Immigration is not the main problem in this country, where do
we get gas and electric from? europe thats where, so you think by
allowing UKIP to withdraw from EU and repatriating others back to EU our
little island is going to be better off.Winters of discontent is all I
see with that scenario.

?? I would like Europe to return to being the EEC which i voted for in
the 1975 referendum, what it's evolved into especially since 2004 is not
what i voted for, or what most in the UK want.

Norway have it right with associate EU status
