It's a sliding ladder than came unslid. He'll accelerate up to 60 mph and
slam his brakes on to fix it.

Excellent!

I wonder how many people would need to hang on the end of the ladder to
lift the front wheels of the van off the ground?

How much effort would it take to rip the roof-bars out of their
mountings?

"Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I
shall rip the lid off this van." Archimedes

I think he actually said "????? ??? ??? ????? ?????? ?????? ???????
???????? ??? ??? ????????? ??? ????? ??? ?? ?? ????????????, ??? ???
?? ?????? ?? ?????? ??? ???? ?? ???????."

I bet that's modern Greek. What would be the ancient Greek for truck?

Well what I am seeing in your reply is very questionable... :-)

(In case anyone sees something else - all Greek alphabetic characters
are question marks.)

I see question marks in the follow-up - but in the original, apart from
the mus, all I saw was a load of squares, ie "????? μ?? ??? μ????
?????? μ????? ??????? ??????μ? ??? μ?? ???μ????? ??? ????? ??? ?? ??
????????????, ??? ???
?? ?????? ?? ?????? ??? ???? ?? ???????."

I think he actually said "Δώστε μου *να μοχλό αρκετά μεγάλο χρονικό
διάστημα και μια υπομόχλιο στο οποίο για να το τοποθετήσετε, και εγώ
θα σχίσει το καπάκι από αυτό το φορτηγό."

Was he ****ed?
