Default Sattelite F connector - RG6?

Just onto CPC to buy some more screw on male F plugs and found that they
listed RG58, RG59, and RG6/100.

Now from looking at Wikipedia I think that 58 and 59 are for older cables,
and anything modern should take RG6.

Just double checking.

Cheers

RG6 is a little thicker than RG59, and so is lower loss, and uses bigger F
connectors. You can find both these cables, and others the same size. (what
was the original question?)

Also, RG58 is 50 ohm cable, (6 and 59 are 75ohm) not that the impedance is
relevant with F connectors, and is a little thinner than RG59.

The original question was 'is RG6 now the standard for satellite cables?'.

Such as PF100

er...I don't think there is a standard for satellite cables. (only that it's
75ohm and can take an F connector)
