You will not get anywhere on one watch again site whichis probably a spin
off from this one, you are charged 99 p to watch episodes of series such as Agatha christies Parrot as my set top box voices it. On another it proclaims you have to turn off your adblock software in your browser to use the site. Brian -- From the Sofa of Brian Gaff Reply address is active "Dickie mint" wrote in message ... Just used itv player for the first and last time to watch Broadchurch Episode 1. As regular users of it and this forum probably know, you cannot skip the adverts. Googling suggests there are paid for apps that will let you record it, and thus then be able to skip the ads. But what an arrogant attitude of itv's! Yes, I know they're paid for by ads, but this is additional income they've already put them out during transmission. And where's viewer choice? ;-) Richard |

That depends on if the views are counted and the advertisers charged for
them. Brian -- From the Sofa of Brian Gaff Reply address is active "David Taylor" wrote in message ... On 2013-03-14, Dickie mint wrote: But what an arrogant attitude of itv's! [snip] Richard I had that experience once, a couple of years ago, and was expecting the same last night when I got on to Broadchurch ep. 2. However, this time I was asked for my post code. Then I got the programme with ad breaks marked along the time line, but showing only the sponsor's brief inserts (River Cruises) and then straight back to the programme. I can live with that. It looks as though the advertisers didn't pay for showing the ads in my area. Trev Morris |

Small grandsons are an endless source of entertainment. I gave our grandson a lecture on the need to believe that he can swim, if he wants to swim. That's good kidology. Bill |
