SSD price increase.

I have been tracking these for quite a while and it looks to me like you got
a mistaken price from Novatech.

OTOH what I don't understand is why they are about twice the price of the
equivalent USB drive. A 64Gb SSD is still over £50 (as you show above),
whereas a 64Gb USB drive is £28 (or less) from Micro Direct.

BTW the mSATA drives are smaller, faster and cheaper.

It has been saying "More than 10 available" for some time now. I wonder
why nobody
has been buying them? They must be really good.

Maybe they have 100, so even if they sell 80, they still have more than 10
available!

Well, as we've shown, you can still get SSDs for about 50p per GB.
USB flash drives can be a lot cheaper - £18.99 for a 64GB for example from
play.com , but they use cheaper slower components.

If you use a USB thumb drive the same way as an SSD - for continuous
reading and writing - you will find the difference after a few months.
