Does nobody sell "single" bits? You buy a set, break one, and have to
buy another set. :-(

What I am actually after are the very small ones like PH00 and
whatever the smallest PZ is.

Screwfix and builders merchants will sell you loads of the smae size, or
individual bits.

Kind of scary to see 25 packs of PZ2 stacked up like sweets on the counter
by the till.
However, impact drivers to tend to chomp up bits.

Places like Screwfix usually sell the common sizes in bulk - all the one
size.

Alltools in Sheffield have bags of 100 of each size. I should imagine
various on line retailers will do the same thing. Incidentally the very
cheap ones are horrible. They shatter.

Maplin used to do them IIRC - I have the tiny Torx to open mobile phones.
Saved my N8 when it went paddling.

Yes, any decent hardware/tool store has them in packs of ten or
twenty-ish. Kamasa branded, for example. The most common is PZ-2 iirc.

Same here. Dropped my N8 into a cup of hot coffee (some months ago).
Slippery little.... Don't know if whipping the battery out quick
helped, but it still works fine.

It would, mine start flashing lights and misbehaving in the minutes it took
to work out how to extract the battery.

I have a neoprene cover for mine, which stops it slipping out of my hand /
pocket.

More people should buy phones like this:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/mobile-devices/mobile-phones/bar/GT-C3350AAAXEU

"Liquid splashes won’t affect the operation of the mobile phone, nor
will being dropped in the water! Solid Xcover works even when submersed
in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes!
Whether you’re around water for work purposes or enjoying some leisure
time, you won’t have to worry about keeping the mobile dry!"

AFAIK Samsung are the only people making waterproof phones ATM.
