For free internet access find a place where the road runs along a main
railway line. When an intercity train comes drive at 120mph alongside it
and you will be able to use the train's wifi.

(not suitable for cyclists)

Excellent tip, but why would you need to travel faster than the train?

How did your wifi connection know? They are usually measured in Mpbs anyway,
not mph. Or perhaps you mean something different.
IAC, how much time did you spend stopped or broken down or on a replacement
bus service :-)

Unless it's a Virgin train, in which case the wifi will not be free.

Free internet access:

Digressing a bit. I received a spam e-mail from some Chinese (??)
company (totobay.com) selling a product to decrypt your way into
encrypted WiFi networks.
If this is real, it's scary.

If it is real, they'll only be selling software that is freely
available on the net.
