Default No interest in horses?

I just replaced the original drive in my Sony SVR-2000 and am having problems
with the Interests/Horses category. It works OK for Search by Title and Browse
by Time but comes up empty for Wishlists and filtered Program Guide.

Anybody else have this problem? If so, where did you get your drive and who
formatted it?

Do any other Interest searches work? If you JUST replaced the drive with a
clean one, the unit will need a while to retrieve and index all the program
data - give it a try tomorrow.

You're partially right. The Program Guide was OK, but not because it needed
the category index. I forgot that it has limited lookahead. The next day the
appropriate Horses items appeared. The other index searches I tried worked
fine.

But the Interests/Horses Wishlist item was still bad the next day and System
Information indicated that Indexing had completed.

I thought my Horses index might be corrupted because the Horses item was out
of alphabetical order in the Interests list (i.e. it came between "Health and
Fitness" and "Holiday"). Going back to my old drive, where the Wishlist item
works fine, convinced me this is OK since "Horses" is out of alphabetical
order there too.

I've noticed other missing items in the past, especially Movies that showed in
Search by Title when using All Programs but not under the Movies category.
Looks like I have a continuing problem with a corrupted or full index table. I
have about 150 channels in my Channels You Receive list, including 60 or so
premium movie channels. Is this too many for a Series 1 TiVo?

Anybody know a way to check my TiVo system for errors or table overflows?

TIA, Jerry
