Default Disaster - last episode of 'The Killing' failed to record...

For some unknown reason, my Humax 9200T completely failed to record last
night's final episode of The Killing - having faithfully recorded all the
previous episodes without a hitch. It was certainly still shown on the list
when I looked earlier in the evening.

Isolated incident or did any others have the same problem?

Recorded for me, but I don't use a Humax.

My Humax Foxsat HDR also failed to record it.

My 9200T has become increasingly unreliable over time. Apart from
forgetting to record programmes, it often remains in the "active
standby" state, as if still recording in standby. I have not been using
it much lately.

The last software updates were not very well tested, I think. Switching
off the series record might improve reliability.

Alternatively the HDR-FOX T2 is a great machine. All technology has a
natural life. The 9200T was a great product but it may be time to
move on.
