Default recommendations for a very directional high gain aerial.

I am about to mount my metallic tree against the gable end of my new house.

I have a number of close by DAB transmitters that transmit the BBC and
Digital One ensembles only from either Bow Brickhill, Milton Keynes or
from Daventry, Northants (also has MXR ensemble too).

I would prefer to pick up a more distant Tx that has more ensembles such
as Zouches farm or Crystal Palace which has CE digital, Switch digital
and DRG ensembles or from Lichfield/Turners Hill/Leamington Spa (all on
the same bearing from my house and has No w Coventry, MXR and CE Brum)

Given the need to pick up a more distant Tx I am in the market for a
highly directional high gain DAB aerial.

This will be used to feed a 16 output multiswitch via a Televes Avant 5.

any recommendations?

Stephen

Triax 5 element DAB. Very pleased with mine.

The directors look in the wrong order on this picture, but it may be
perspective!

Thats a great response from both of you..

I've used the Triax DAB aerial before. a good aerial it is too. I'm
prepared to use two of these and a phasing harness to improve the
directivity and gain to pull in a more distant DAB Tx.

Why a "more distant" DAB Tx" ?

Will you be receiving anything that you can't get streaming on the
internet?

Just curious...

Mind you don't pull in things that aren't meant for you on the same RF
channel;!..
