This might suit, http://preview.tinyurl.com/6v49aok -- Ian |

TIA Vigman PS I see that there are no equivalents for the Sony Blu-rays 8((( What about a wireless bridge? Lots on ebay, around £20. Try this as an example: 180764950030 (Ebay item number). If you have a "spare" USB socket to power it, otherwise use a cheap USB power supply like: 270793144800. No recommendation about these particular ones. Dave -- Blow my nose to email me |

Hi, please can someone confirm an equivalent USB wi-fi dongle for a Panasonic DMP-BDT110, rather than the expensive own brand? Digressing. My Sony 32EX503 works great on Ethernet input for on-line video - but trying to use the remote as a keyboard is rubbish (eg on YouTube). Much better is keeping an old laptop next to the TV and connecting it to the TV via a VGA cable and stereo audio cable (a laptop with HDMI would be better). There are many el-cheapo wireless keyboards/trackball mouse available to control the laptop PC from the sofa. This solution is not quite perfect for me. The TV will not accept Dual screen output from my old Dell laptop. (hi def video to BOTH laptop and TV simultaneously). It's fine on extrenal video only (to TV). Another caution with this - the Sony TV is senstive to the quality of the VGA cable between laptop and TV. A short Dell Laptop to PC monitor cable is fine; a cheap, eBay VGA+ stereo audio cable is touchy. Anyway, back a bit nearer the OP's issue. Are there WiFi dongles with an ethernet output (probably needing an external power supply)? This would get round the overpriced Sony/Panasonic TV specified WiFi dongles. Or does any company make Sony compatible WiFi dongles? |

It will need power of course. They don't show that. Rod. -- Virtual Access V6.3 free usenet/email software from http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtual-access/ |
