You want to try a Conservative Party function if it's stereotypes you're
after!

So a Conservative MP was at an event where someone else dressed up like
Ed Balls, big deal!

I was recently dragged along (screaming) to a fashion show and you've

P.S It could be worse, in the US 99% fit the stereotype over there
and, if you're a crank, it's obligatory to dress up as Casey Jones.

Talking about stereotypes, ever been to a Linux developers conference?

To attend such a thing would define that? Unless just doing the bog
cleaning.

They have bog cleaners at Linux developers conferences?

Surely it would be part of the culture for the developers to clean the
bogs themselves?

Obviously there would be a variety of cleaning tools and fluids
according to personal preference. Some bog-cleaning Linux developers
would make their own cleaning brushes and mix their own cleaning fluids.

The idea of using bog-standard items would be anathema to them.

Are we talking beards, ponytails and sandals here? Or are they not a
subclass of the traditional Unix set.

yes, all of those, plus the impulsive need to criticise and denigrate
commercial products at every opportunity, and the unshakeable belief
that their operating system is on the verge of taking off and sweeping
all the alternatives into the gutter.

Compared to that crowd, transpotters are a positively diverse and
unpredictable bunch.

Oh no, that's terrible! Poor animal. How did it happen? I really think
you should take him to the vet.
Cheers
