Assuming the information is correct, since when, or rather what
previous document, has Arqiva B been on Ch 67 since DS0 2?

I have it as remaining as pre-DSO, that is on Ch 46, until
14/09/2011???

My understanding is currently the three COM muxs a-

SDN Ar A Ar B
31 40 67

From Sept 14th
SDN Ar A Ar B
31 67 48

48 is liberated by Oxford's DSO 1 on that day, 40 has to be donated to Sutton
Coldfield for its DSO 2 on Sept 21

Then on Nov 23rd 2011, Sandy adopts Ch 52 for Arq A (liberated that day by
Taccy DSO 2)

Yes, that's my understanding from the above document. My point was
that I can find no equivalent document telling me that Arqiva B is on
67, and not still on its pre-DSO channel of 46. In particular, the
final Anglia pre-DSO document ...

http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/transmitt...pt10_FINAL.pdf

.... gives the impression that the latter was intended ...

"Existing low powered (2KCOFDM) commercial muxes will remain on air at
Sandy Heath. They adopt high power 8K/64QAM based signals in later
technical events – dates to be confirmed in subsequent newsletters"

.... while the SH 1 Month Out document ...

http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/transmitt...1_MO_FINAL.pdf

.... does talk of "transitional configurations", but gives no
important details such as, ahem, anything as basic as the channel
numbers involved ...

"At Sandy Heath, the new COM muxes SDN, Arqiva-A and Arqiva-B adopt
transitional configurations and will subsequently pass through several
stages of parking channels each requiring a retune. See the ‘Technical
Events’ section below"

The Technical Events section begins ...

SANDY HEATH, 31 Aug 2011, COM Mux frequency change
SDN adopts temporary parking channel to avoid interaction with Sutton
Coldfield DSO.

.... so I don't believe there has ever been official mention that
Arqiva B adopted Ch 67 at DSO2 and will remain on it until 14/9/2011.

I suppose it must be so, however. I'll have to change the data in the
calculator, but I would feel happier about doing so if anyone here
receiving SH could be so kind as to confirm.

Certainly the channel allocations are as documented, though I don't have
any previous documents to answer your original question. Pre-DSO the mux
carrying BBC-4 was on channel 67.

Thank you, Dave.

I've been updating the data according to the most recent DUK docs, as
well as tweaking the calculator a little, so I'll try and get the
updates out overnight.

I have a note taken from a circular that was sent round, and online at:
www.digital.co.uk/postcodechecker/

about Sandy Heath saying that a retune will be necessary on 14 September
("COM channel change and power up"), another one on 23 November and a
'final' one on 9 May 2012 (both "COM channel change, mode change and
power-up").
