Default What's the third mast CP?

Having spent the last few weeks staring out of the train window
commuting to Denmark Hill I noticed that the Norwood Rridge has three
masts on it. Working West to East: Nearest Croydon is the Croydon
Beulah Hill (old ITV I think) one, Then the main one and then there is
another , slightly smaller than BH. From the train it looks about the
same distance East of the big one as BH is West. It looks way too big
to be a phone mast.

Anyone?

Isn't that the original ITV mast?

There are only two main towers on the Crystal Palace ridge, although
there are a number of smaller masts acattered around.
What you are probably seeing is the Met Police tower at Forest Hill.
It's about 2.5 km north-east of the main CP mast.
