Ah, so BBC management will continue to consist solely of two dimensional personas?

I am not going to pay £225 to read this article. I will wait until the
information turns up somewhere else

Malcolm

I'm thinking the original poster may have forgotten something in the
quote. It's definitely not worth £225 in its present form.

Well, I can't provide a direct quote without possibly breaching copyright, but
actually there's not much more info anyway.

Danielle Nagler is leaving the Beeb later this year (not to be replaced) to
join a firm a lawyers, and the Beeb have also said today that BBC HD will be
converted into BBC 2 HD.

which could mean we end up watching non HD bbc 2 shows upscaled while
bbc 3 and 4 HD shows we currently see on BBC HD go unseen until some
point in the future if repeated.

Do a Google 'News' search for 'BBC2HD' and all will be revealed.

Or conversely they could put the HD stuff on BBC2.

Was there not a suggestion coming from the Trust that the way the
programmes were divided into channels might change, with possibly a
reduction from four to three? At the moment four seem unnecessary as
BBC4 seems to show all the programmes twice an evening and BBC3 keeps
showing the same programmes such as Family Guy and Dr Who over and
over again.

And what about BBC2 Scotland? I assume the change will not take place
until the facility for the 'nations' to broadcast in HD is
implemented.
