It depends on what there is to see. For £12 I'd want somewhere that kept me busy all day. £12 for something that only took two hours would be a swizz. Incidentally the reason the National Railway Museum is free is because they've figured they make more on the gift shop like that. Bill Funnily enough friends were there about a fortnight ago. Previously, museums weren't treated as businesses unless they charged for entrance, so couldn't claim back VAT on their purchases, the change of heart allowed them to offer free entry and still claim back VAT. |
