Default Weird effect on Humax Foxsat HDR

Came back home after few days away, visiting B-in-L after his heart op,
to find that the Humax Freesat HDR had coped with the DVB-S2 change BUT
three recordings made on Tuesday came up with AD as the selected audio :
Holby City BBC1 HD
Secret Seas BBC HD
Lead Balloon BBC HD.

Had to select them back to ordinary audio.

weird!

I've heard that Brian makes himself at home in other peoples houses when
they're away. :¬)

Is there not some issue on hd with the way AD is delivered though. I'm not

I don't think so. DSAT uses the inferior "broadcaster mix" on a
separate user selected audio. Thus the mix is never to everybody, but
the broadcaster's sound person, need.

My Humax somehow must have recorded the AD track marked as main audio.

It's probably some glitch linked to the recent forced OTA software
update.

Wait until you try to set a recording from the EPG using the new
software.

Cheers,
David.
