Default Problem with Freeview reception in part of house

I have a freeview aerial in my loft as high as I can get it.I come off that
into a 4 way amplifier which is also in the loft.. 2 of the leads from the
amplifier feed into 2 bedroom tvs and they give a good freeviw reception.
The 3rd lead goes down to the main lounge tv where we also have a sky hd
box. Out of the back of the HD box I feed the main tv in HD cable and
coaxial. I also have taken another coaxial out of the HD box to the kitchen
tv. This allows me to watch digital and sky on the kitchen tele. I have a
Panasonic 37" plasma in the lounge and a new Samsung 19" LED in kitchen (
sound on this tele is awful). I have also installed a magic eye on the
kitchen tele. The problem I have is that I cannot get all the freeview
channels on the lounge and kitchen televisions. We had the analogue
switched off 2 months ago. Is the problem due to the digital signal going
through the sky hd box?

Regards

Mark

I know nothing about this device, but I suggest reading some of the
reviews here, they may help.

Check which UHF channel you've got your HD channel RF output set to. You
may find its on the same channel as one of the freeview multpliexes. If
so move the channel on the HD box and see if that resolves it.

There are only 6 muxes in most areas, even if you don't know which
channels they're on, shouldn't be too difficult to avoid them by trail
and error.

Don't forget once you follow this and change the channel you'll need to
retune the sky channel on the kitchen TV.

Possibly. Why don't you just plug the aerial feed directly into the lounge
telly and see if there is an improvement?

Taken plug out of HD box and inserted in back of TV retuned and all freeview
channels are there. Checked RF Outlets on Sky box and confirms 68 and off.
Do I change the 68 to 67 and retune the televisions?

Thanks

To make things future proof, I'd keep well clear of anything above Ch 60 for
RF distribution etc, regardless whether any present DTT transmissions are
there. Once DSO is complete, 4G phone services will be appearing there.
