Default Which ITV Broadcasting Limited regional news program on the PSB-3multiplex that you receive?

I asked a question in another thread about which regional news program was
carried on the ITV-1 HD service broadcast from Emley Moor but received no
response.

So throwing the question open to the wider audience of
ITV Broadcasting Limited regional news viewers ...

Terrestrial DVB-t2 PSB-3 multiplex

ITV-1 HD Granada (Winter Hill and relays) carries Granada Reports
ITV-1 HD London (Crystal Palace and relays) carries London Tonight
ITV-1 HD Wales (Llandonna, Moel-y-Parc, etc) carries London Tonight

Mark Carver has indicated I think that

ITV-1 HD Meridian (Dover, Hannington, Midhurst, Rowridge etc)
does indeed carry Fred Dinenage on Meridian Tonight.

So what do viewers on Emley Moor, Sutton Coldfield etc see at
18:00h on ITV-1 HD?'

And are there any local advertisements during or around these
programs?

And for viewers in Scotland, do they get the appropriate north/east/west
version of stv News on stv HD, or is it only the stv West version carried
on all PSB-3 multiplex licensed transmissions of stv?

Presumably viewers in the Channel Islands get no service on LCN 51,
as is the case for viewers in the occupied territories.

On Freesat in Yorkshire looks like it could be Granada
Sorry can't confirm if Terrestrial is the same as no one appears to use
Freeview HD..

The ITV-1 HD Meridian channel only exists an an encrypted stream on
Astra, and therefore only available to Sky Digiboxes with a card.

Freesat ITV-1 HD here (in Hannington-land) is the London version.

There are no DVB-T2 PSB-3 mux transmissions in Meridianland currently,
they will come with the start of DSO here in Feb 2012,

So what do viewers on Emley Moor, Sutton Coldfield etc see at

pedant mode

Until switchover, you can only get it from Black Hill, so you get the
Glasgow version. Even for SD, many parts of Edinburgh use Black Hill
and thus get the Glasgow version.

But all the STV North (ex Grampian transmitters) switched last year, and have
been carrying STV HD on the T2 mux ?

Oh, I hadn't noticed that that was now called STV.

Sorry, I had not checked up on that and did not realize that once again
viewers in the South were being deprived of a service that has been available
elsewhere for quite some time.

Not Sutton Coldfield, but Lichfield

Yes the signal for ITV-1 HD is indeed from Lichfield, but these viewers are
on Sutton Coldfield in the sense of their antennas pointing to that mast.

I would be extremely surprised if any (well significant numbers) of them have
put up another antenna just to receive the temporary
HD service.

Unless of course they had bothered with a second antenna for five.

Were many viewers in Greater London prepared to pay for and install
a second antenna for five from Croydon?
