All the same except I still have it on 5377.

Each time you do a manual scan of one transponder the box simply bungs
what it finds at the end of your existing list, so the numbers don't
mean anything. Also, if you move Sky news to 5001 and C4 HD to 5002
(etc) all the other numbers change.

I've just noticed that C4 (all regions) has lost signal along with More
4+1, Film 4 and anything else on frequency 10714.

The Humax is reporting "No or bad signal".

C4+1 is OK.

All the other Freesat channels seem to be OK.

All back to normal now.

On my Foxsat HDR it is number 5530 in the non-Freesat channel list. The
channel name is currently "53147". There is no sound.

It seems to be called '53147'. There is audio. And there's been another
earthquake in Japan...

Its showing up as "53147" on my Technomate TM-5402-HD as well.

Interesting statement,
"NHK World HD will be the fifth HD channel on Freesat, joining BBC1 HD, the
BBC HD channel, ITV1 HD and recently launched Channel 4 HD."

.... recently launched CH4 HD!

Another interesting thing Freesat give an exact day for NHK but when I rang
Freesat yesterday they have no idea when Ch4 are going to put themselves on
Freesat EPG.
Yes it is up to Ch4 to do it and not Freesat.

Ch4 may not know what to do. They have 6 regional versions of C4. The
one that appears in the Freesat EPG depends on the postcode the box is
given. Advertising time is sold by region[1].

There is only one C4 HD channel. If viewers choose to watch C4 HD
instead of C4 SD then the number of viewers of regional advertising will
drop and Ch4 will lose money. There might be arguments inside the
company about whether or not to enable Red Button swtiching from C4 SD
to C4 HD.

"The Red Button = The Lose Regional Advertising Revenue Button".

As regards regions, BBC1 HD is not local to me, it goes off when regional
program on.
ITV1 is not my region it is Granada. So do not think CH4 would be
different position in not having correct region.
