Default Connecting equipment

How do I hook-up:

an RCA DVD player (model RC5240PB)
a Sony VCR cassette recorder (model SLV-N50)
and a Technics CD player (model SL-PC10)

to a 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV (model KDL-32EX400).

(The TV is connected, via a coax cable, to a Dish VIP-622 DVR)

First of all... Bookmark this, it's your product page:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu...L32EX400&LOC=3

Your TV has 4 HDMI inputs, and 3 analog inputs; one Component, and two
Composite (one is on the side).

Suggestion;

* Connect the VCR to one of the Composite inputs, that's a no
brainier.

* Chose between the RCA and the Technics for the one Component input
and connect the other to the remaining Composite.

* Consider upgrading to a Blu-Ray unit which will connect via HDMI and
retire one or both the DVD players.

A HIGH DEFINITION DVR connected to the TV via coax? No HDTV for you.

The Dish Network HDTV DVR Satellite Receiver User's Guide says to run
a "coaxial" cable from the "Channel 21-69 Output" connection on the
VIP-622 DVR to the Sony Bravia LCD Digital Color TV.

I run HD signals over coax all the time. It's called component.

You mistake coax for RF modulated NTSC over coax.

Why would you connect a CD player to a TV?

And why a CD player at all if you have a DVD player - it can play CDs
too!

The OP stated *a* coax cable. If it were component, wouldn't it be
*three* cables?
