There are some parts that I would have written up differently, but to be honest there
is nothing I can see there that makes me particularly cross.

Is it the digital TV = Freeview stance that bothers you?
I see where you are coming from if that is the case, but to be fair, Freesat is covered
elsewhere, and although many of us here agree both systems should, at least be
given consideration, it is a fact that in most people's mind terrestrial transmissions remain
Bog-Standard Television irrespective of whether delivered by analogue or digital means.

I think you must have missed

"Currently, the most common choice to receive digital signals is to
have a digital TV aerial installation at your property"

Which MAY be correct, but in the majority of cases is ********

However, this means that everyone will have to have some way of
receiving the digital transmissions.

UNQUOTE

Is there now a law in the UKofGB&NI that everyone has to be able
to receive digital transmissions?

Are government inspectors going around stopping people on the street
to ensure that they are carrying the correct receiving apparatus to
instantly get the latest government propaganda bulletin?

What about digital refuseniks who refuse to have any means of
receiving digital transmissions?

Will they be carted off to gaol?

Has the author been reading too much 1984 when the televisor must
always be switched on?

Or maybe this hyperbolic statement just one big lie?

What I like is the bit about being able to fast-forward live
