I have a rooftop aerial that is wired to a powered splitter in the attic.
One cable goes to my computer which has a USB digital tuner and the other goes to a wall plate in my lounge. Reception is from the Angus transmitter, digital only, analogue switched off. I also have sky. I have a new HD freeview digital TV . Should I connect the wall plate to the sky box then the TV or connect the TV directly to the aerial wall plate? Or does it not matter? At present the TV is connected directly to the wall plate and the sky box via scart. |

With digital it would only make a difference if the signal was marginal. And given that you have an amplifier, it is even less likely to. Unless you can see obvious digital artefacts, do whatever is more convenient. -- Richard |

Unless you want to use the RF2 output on the Skybox to feed a second set there's no need to pass the aerial signals through the Skybox. Presumably the Skybox is not HD, if you are using a scart lead? If his Sky box is an old one with RGB he should be using that, normally on AV1. Bill |
