Default weird AD sound

Hi I was channel hopping last night and found that some channels sound was
decidedly odd. They sounded like someone had decided to use an old 1970s
auto double track delay system on them. On turning off AD it went away.
Unfortunately cannot remember what channel it was, but it was a commercial
one.

Orrible effect, like having your head in a bucket.

Don't know which platform you use or what area you are in - I'm using
FreeView from Crtstal Palace.

I would guess that was FIVE I've noticed this a lot when I have a VI friend
over and FIVE with AD is on, sometimes just one advert, sometimes the whole
program but most often the sponser bumpers at advert breaks. I find it most
annoying but phoning the duty office has had no effect.
