ITV+1 started today.

And I didn't get an annoying pop up telling me that I needed to retun
(again!).

What a **** up

I think the popup is only put up for major retunes. The (SD) Humaces don't
go looking for new channels.

ITV1+1 occupies the same LCN and mux/offset as ITV2+1, so you don't have to
retune unless you just want it to show the right channel name in the list,
in which case a manual retune of mux 2 is all that is needed.

ITV2+1 is now part-time on LCN 27.

My 9200 popped up a massive box covering almost the entire screen at
about 10pm.

Mine did a pop up yesterday around 6 and told me it had found 2 new
channels. Dunno what the other was...

Why are we allowing all these plus one channels to waste the bandwidth.
I've not found anyone who actually needs them. Of course I maintain they are
used by folk who cannot understand how to make timed recordings.

And I maintain that I can use them when two or more programs clash so I
can record 2 and watch a third.

For that purpose a longer delay would be better, e.g. +4, or you could still
get clashes.

I think the +1 channels are for people who like to watch TV live but have
poor timekeeping.
