I didn't vote Tory for the simple reason I wanted Labour to win and be
forced to carry the can for the mess they created, how quickly people
forget... The is

"The chancellor has conceded in an interview with me that if Labour is
re-elected, *public spending cuts will be tougher and deeper than those
implemented by Margaret Thatcher*."

PS I am no fan of Norman Tebbitt, but claiming that people
said one thing when they actually said something else is
if done knowingly and wilfully is just propagating lies.

What about quoting people out of context to create a false impression of events,
in some 3rd rate attack against their character?

No, the BMP are racists, real racist loonies who think that non-whites
are inferior. I merely believe that the UK needs to preserve its
present cultural values, and that the very large numbers of immigrants
we've had while Labour was in charge will compromise this. It's purely
a matter of numbers. The UK has happily absorbed immigrants since time
began with few problems, but the present numbers are threatening to
overwhelm us. Why do I want the UK preserve its present cultural
values? Because I like the British cultural values and I don't see why
we should change them.
There's also the problem that a lot of immigrants and their
descendants are fifth columists. We should accept that we are at war
and intern anyone who is even remotely likely to be a terrorist
sympathiser.
The BNP are idiots. Have you seen their website? It looks like a
schoolchild did it. Griffin is a dreadful man. What a pity there's no
credible political party with the guts to speak out for the ordinary
UK citizen who is concerned about immigration. This business of
ignoring the concerns of ordinary people will rebound in spades before
long, and that won't help anyone.

Here we have a rehash of the standard "I'm not racist, but..." line. It's the
layman's rubbish pre-emptive justification for saying something massively racist
in an age where it's unacceptable.

I'm not even going to dignify the rest of Bill's post with a put-down.

I thought the plan was to bury her under Barrowlands (after driving a
wooden stake through her heart).

No. There are two entirely different types of immigrant who come to our
country:

One wishes to integrate with the indigenous population whilst the other
insists that WE adapt to suit THEM and THEIR way of life.

The latter are the real racists and should be sent back to their country
of origin or, if there is a VALID reason why this should not be
possible, to another country of their choice which agrees with their views.

I'm not even going to dignify the rest of Bill's post with a put-down.

I note that you've modified your identity to get past my kill file -
it's been really peaceful without you - so you now have two choices.

Act in a reasonable manner and you can stay but, the first time you
resort to your old behaviour, back to hell you go!

********. There are good and bad people, I'll agree, and some of them are
immigrants, but there are plenty of non-immigrant bad eggs as well - you, for
example.

A recent survey showed that the majority of Londoners believe in god,
on the face of it a surprising finding in what is essentially a secular
country.

Until you realise just how many immigrants, especially peasant immigrants
with medieval orthodox beliefs have moved there, and how many former
Londoners have moved out to the suburbs.

e.g. Harrow is now recognised by the UN as a ghetto with white British
population now well under 48% and dropping

Agree with you. It is amazing how quickly people seem to for get that:

A) The current economic problem was caused by the Banks and Finance
(Private Sector) on a Global level. Not just one Government - although the
USA is a good candidate for the main country whose Private Sector drove the
problem into such an extreme bubble.

B) That the actions by Government that enabled (A) were the changes in
regulation and permitted practice brought in by Thatcher, Regan, and other
'free market' types.

C) That the main beneficiaries have been the rich and large companies who
flit from nation to nation, run the news media, and evade paying tax. For
them it is still "Crisis? What Crisis?" :-)

Hardly surprising that the ConDemned can't actually admit the above when
they came to office bankrolled and supported by media supplied by (C). So
instead they (and the newspapers) prefer to 'blame the last government'.
Not a particulary original ploy.

Slainte,

Jim
