I frequently watch the BBC i-player via my Bush Freesat receiver (connected to Virgin 10 meg broadband) and even watching full screen on a 32" TV set to 'higher quality', I have rarely experienced any problems. |

You don't say what model you have, but according to the Panasonic website 2010 models already have iPlayer, 2009 models are planned to get it in July and 2008 models need to wait until at least September. See http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_G...#anker_3580818 Thank you will take the worst case then of it being September as I have had it awhile. Should it turn out to be July will be a bonus. Anyone got a current 2010 model with the correct update in, is it working? Or do we have to wait further for Freesat to do their bit? Regards David PS we have a Wii console with the i-player update and it plays the programs back ok, so I wonder if those of you i-player problems if it is your Internet connection? Definition with the Wii is not the greatest but just about passes, hoping the TV will do better that is why I keen for the TV update. |

I will then do it too if of interest to me. Regards David |

The internet connection itself works perfectly well without a satellite dish. But how do you use an internet connection to access iPlayer? On a computer, you use a web browser. But the TV does not have a web browser. You use a widget. Or so I've heard. -- Max Demian |
