I have found (1 incident) Samsung to be exemplary) They sent a replacement lcd to a UPS storefront and I brought old one there. We took new one out of box and UPS packaged and returned old one. What is your complaint against Samsung? Tee Jay |

What is your complaint against Samsung? Tee Jay My Samsung continues to treat channel 44.1 as 45.1. Rescanning doesn't help. The channel transmits on 45, but shows up as 44.1 on the Sharp and on the DTVPal DVR. You cannot get the Samsung to do a partial rescan. It always has to dump all the channels and start over, which means if you don't get every channel on the rescan, you lose. The others can add channels, either by partial rescans, or by tuning to the RF channel and auto-learning the info for the channel. Not the stupid Samsung. I tried contacting Samsung about a problem with a printer. They never answered, but they did add me to an email spamming list for their ads (and I *always* select NO to such things on the web pages). The picture is mostly adequate, but the software and the support is the absolute pits. Alan |
