Looks a cheap item, so low price.
Not the sellers first transaction.

Looks like 640x480 to me, otherwise, they would have put actual, maximum
resolution first.

That's my point, it has the full HD 1080 logo on the add and it is only a
640x480 display it downscales the 1080. Not what I would call HD.

It also ships from Hong Kong. Expect lots of VAT and duty upon delivery.

Report the item if it's misleading, and do the decent thing for the less
informed buyer.

Projectors seem to be duty exempt if they are operated by a flat panel
display and have PC input, otherwise they are 14%. I can't see a 'flat
panel display' display on this one, but they may accept if the projector
is LCD and the control system is on there.

http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs...escription=yes

Seems would be 14%, but worth a call to the HMRC tarif query line to
check before buying.

17.5% VAT of course.

This brings the price upto £250, but you don't have the sale of goods
act protection for 6 years and so on. Not that its that useful, but you
can usually bring companies to court if you can prove there was a defect
or weakness at the time of sale.
