more
details as to if all services effected?
Regards

Yes, it is quite correct David. Expect major loss of digital services if
you live in fringe coverage areas.

On an unrelated note, the ARC on Channel 4 analogue from Emley Moor is currently stuck in 16:9 deep letterbox mode.
4:3 material appears "squashed".

Pity they don't send 16:9 material to the analogue TXs as full height anamorphic image.

As most widescreen owners views analogue in stretchy-vision mode, it should be an advantage.

Your English teacher must be so proud of you...

Paul, don't be such a beast.

Why not? I'm feeling beastly today.

I'm feeling randy, but I shan't go near the sheep. I shan't I tell
you!

No it's more likely it would melt...chocolate has a low melting point.

According to Briantist at UK Free TV

QUOTE

West Yorkshire to get reduced Freeview service for two months

From 14 April 2010 the Emley Moor mast will be on the
*reserve antenna*, causing Freeview reception issues.

...

This will effect people using loft and indoor aerials, and those
on the edge of the reception area.

There is very little that can be done - DO NOT replace your aerial.

Brought to you by the site that published this little jem:

I could make several comments on how this is misleading but I will single
out the one where it suggests you switch off signal boosters without saying that
you would need to bypass them as well.
