Brian Except that a religious fundamentalist we shall call Lord [David] Alton managed to get an amendment to the Sunday Trading Bill to force large stores [like B&Q] to close on Easter Sunday. Every Easter Sunday I drive past the local DIY sheds, and there's the sight of perplexed folk rattling the front doors trying to get in. I did have one problem as a result of the Easter Sunday trading law, the button cell in my car's key fob died. Could get into the car using the key, but could not de-immobilise the immobiliser, and we were 200 miles from home. Sorted it in the end by sticking the battery on a radiator for 30 mins ! -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. www.paras.org.uk |

I'd vote for the Monster raving loony party if they made repealing Sunday trading laws their policy.
