Would it?. There are very, very, few people in the UK who have satellite
receivers that can receive 19.2, the millions of sat receivers here are
aimed at 28.2 !..

I really don't see a mass rush to have 19.2 equipment installed!....

That's true of the general public but the people who read here might to get
proper HD.

Regards
David

I think you mean the "millions of satellite *dishes* here are aimed"
because all of those satellite receivers are quite capable of receiving
the transmissions from 19.2 East.

I really don't see a mass rush to have 19.2 equipment installed!....

Because people have been brainwashed by $ky marketing.

Well do you think the Sky minidish is cable of having Two LNB's on it or
do you see a mass dish adjustment programme;?..

Besides if they'd broadcast the English sound of imported movies or tv
programmes, they'd pay vastly more for the broadcasting rights because
such a move would increase the audience dramatically for which the
rights holders would want compensation.

But most of Europe understands English as a second language.

They tell me that their native tongue is "god's chosen language" like
people from Yorkshire are prone to do so..

Two LNBs? Hmmm.

Well, the (new?) 4,3 degree monoblock should work at least.

Maybe a 13,0 / 19,2 monoblock might just work?

or do you see a mass dish adjustment programme;?..

A rotor is the best option

A popular Myth. English is widely taught but the % who can use it
comfortably enough to use for pleasure
is quite small.

I work for a very large European company and English is mandatory for all
professional job grades, outside that grade or
those who joined before the requirement have limited ability in English.

In England most if not all school children are taught French, very few
adults have more than limited ability.

I note you are probably from Germany where English is well taught, I still
find that outside tourist areas English is iffy.

And why not? I think that English should be the only official EU working
language but I see no reason why individual countries should
not purely work in their national language.

In fact I would make speaking English in Scotland, Wales and Northern
Ireland illegal

I think Europe has had it's fill of political leverage being applied to
languages. They rarely work.

A young graduate colleague has had a year of uni education and a 3 month
project spent in France paid for by European funds as part of
learning other European culture project.

Good for the individual, bad for the tax payer.

It's a pittance compared to the amounts of taxpayers money given to
worthless quangos to manage peoples "adult education"
