Viera cast a waste of time?

Every Saturday morning I sit down with the music section of the
newspaper. Using Viera Cast I watch YouTube videos of any artist(s)
that interests me. Its great seeing YouTube on a big screen, much
better than any PC. As I am interested in painting I can also watch
artists at work in great detail. Having YouTube in your living room on
a big screen is wonderful.
Picasa is good too, lots of my favourite pictures are on the web and
can be displayed at 37" size instead of on a crumby computer screen.
I am looking forward to movies on demand, skype and the various things
they already have in America on Viera Cast.

That said Panasonic Europe ought to pull their digits out

Absolutely if you don't own a Panasonic TV.

The ability to watch share prices on your big TV screen is pretty handy I
find.

Apologies about this but, if they broadcast artists at work then this
really is a channel where you can watch paint dry...

If you think that was TV on the cheap, there was a recent satellite
channel, now closed, which, during the day, just broadcast a stream
from a camera strategically placed in the TV station's main office
with a view of the staff at their desks.

Maybe somebody remembers the name of the station?
