1/3" thick. Presumably, the 3D technology is active-shutter glasses,
although it doesn't say so he

Very impressive, but I'd rather they put more effort into reducing the
size of the frame than the thickness because it's the frame that
contributes to how much a large TV dominates a room.

Wonder where the electronics and connectors are.
If in the stand it will be hard to hang it on a wall, I think how ever thick
a TV is it is the distance from a wall that matters.
I suppose the ultimate set up will be a display panel as thin as possible
and the electronics and aerial and other connectors in a separate control
box.

David

yes, that's why I purchased a Tosh with a 20mm frame.

I see that the Toshiba 40ZF355DB has been discontinued, so there's nothing
like that on the market now. Why oh why etc.

I have heard of a few horror stories with them, the onboard EPG is a bit
weak, but I only really use mine as a HDMI display so no problem, glad I
got one while they were available.

that's the one...love mine. I had 2 x 40XF's before but both LCD's failed,
one for pixels the other banding. When the second went TU I was lucky enough
to fall into the 'model unavailable' bracket will you accept a ZF.

I was looking for a ZF for my kids at Xmas and could not find one anywhere
even ebay, plenty of XF's mind with the sellers wanting near £500.

Some Philips have narrow bezels and good reviews.
