Default Quad compatible Multiswitch ?

Anyone know of a Multiswitch which can be used with an existing Sky
minidish and Quad LNB ?

The Multiswitch need to generate the appropriate Tone and Volts to
force the Multiswitch to provide the required bands and polarisations.

Haven't seen one for ages. Why not swap the LNB?

I got a Antiference iSYS 7 multiswitch recently, and the supplier sent
me the wrong one by mistake: They sent me a 'T' model instead of a
normal one.

The models with 'T' appended to them indicates 'Tone', and will do what
you want.

You can, of course, use a 'T' one with a quattro LNB too, in which hase
the tones and voltages are simply igored by the LNB.

Ron - Great Thanks, I'll take a look.

Bill - do you know who makes a Quattro that will fit a mini dish - I
couldn't find one with an eliptical feed horn ?

The 'Skyware' ones do. We get them from Solutions Group. Frankly I
don't like them. They are too heavy for the mount. I prefer to use a
normal 60cm dish for those jobs.

Bill,

thanks for this, unfortunately I can only find Quads on their webshop,
and nothing under the Skyware brand name.

Normally I'd also do it properly, but this is a special fix for a
specific short term problem. I want to be able to put things back to
normal at the end of a trial period.

Well I dunno then. I just get them over the counter at the Sheffield
branch. They have a sort of universal fixing thing that means you can
fit them to any dish.

As has been mentioned the Anti Isys7 range has some models which can be fed
via a quad, but I've had a few problems with the power supplies giving up
the ghost. Had to replace 2 now and touch wood both a doing OK.
