Given that reception of Freeview using my loft aerial yesterday was almost non-existent on a couple of muxes, but was absolutely fine with my outdoor aerial, I would say definitely yes. This morning, though, despite more snow overnight, reception from the loft aerial is very much better. Perhaps we had the wrong kind of snow yesterday? |

It does while the transmission power is lower than it will be when
switchover is complete. Depends very much on the frequency and the efficiency of the aerial at that frequency.
