ITV Freeview missing?

I'm in N London, receiving from Crystal palace. we have no ITV 1 2 4 &5
at the mo'. Getting Bad signel messages.
Anyone else?

Given that reception of Freeview using my loft aerial yesterday was almost
non-existent on a couple of muxes, but was absolutely fine with my outdoor
aerial, I would say definitely yes. This morning, though, despite more snow
overnight, reception from the loft aerial is very much better. Perhaps we
had the wrong kind of snow yesterday?

Depends on the snowflake size - which affects the natural frequency of
the "arms" :-)

out to sweep snow off the dishes. Virtually no snow there, it was sitting
on the ends of two of the LNBs. The third one was fine, it was offset,
and didn't have the boom below it, allowing the snow to slide off.

I wonder how many $ky subscribers were affected?

A couple of days ago there was about 4 - 5 cm snow on the end of the LNB.
The 65 cm dish had a little snow on the bottom part. I expected to get no
Freesat signal, but it came through without problem. I wonder why there was
a difference between your reception and mine.

You aren't being pedantic Brian. I am certainly no fan of Sky but this
dollar sign gimmick is just purile.

It does while the transmission power is lower than it will be when
switchover is complete.

Depends very much on the frequency and the efficiency of the aerial at that
frequency.
