Haven't really been paying much attention to this, but a message on C4,
recorded on 1st Dec, said the analog signal will switch off at midnight (in the NorthWest) Sure enough, at 1am, there was no analog. Dug out a freeview box, retuned it, and it could only pick up BBC channels! And on my freeview TV, (although not retuned), the commercial channels seemed to be missing. What's happened to all the rest?! Both TV and stb are a couple of years old... -- Bartc |

Of course it was completely unrelated to digital TV switchover - it just happened at exactly the same time..... -- Regards - replace xyz with ntl |

Well it was superimposed over an image of Rachel Riley putting up the letters on Countdown, so I only briefly glanced at it. It just seemed unlikely that a bunch of channels would all disappear at the same time from both analog *and* digital. I wouldn't be that bothered, because I normally use cable and V+ box, but I have a dedicated HDD recorder with no built-in freeview to record Countdown. -- Bartc |

Which there was ![]() One of the PSB muxes was available (BBC) as it was already in it's final resting place since Nov 4th (although was interrupted a couple of times for I assume switching breaks) but all the other muxes were being re-engineered hence the warning to rescan around 6am. This is why you could only get BBC channels ![]() In actuality it all appeared finished by about 3.30am and was certainly all sorted when I got home from work in time for BBC Breakfast ![]() |

Well, without model numbers its anyone's guess.
Suspect the software has not been updated, or the aerial is wrong or the units are just totally confused like the owner!
