Oh not again. Name the installer that completed the job, it will be
on the papers your friend has. I'm amazed Trading Standards haven't
caught up with you yet. Just how many faulty installations to you tell
people they need correcting and how much do you charge them. Is
all or any of this work you do even required?
I might have to find out how many complaints have been made.
After reading some of your posts, your company is one I would avoid.

If I was to go to Jefs level perhaps I could suggest that he goes to
Specsavers so that he can read the senders name?

Unless his newsreader is set up to show headers he won't know which Bill
you are. Mine isn't and I got very confused.

(£100 from my personal experience) you will see a couple of replies which
are obviously posted by the bob a job boys. In particular the one that
states £25 for a dish, dish hardware, 4 way LNB, clips, cable, connectors,
tape etc off ebay. I cannot imagine that this is top quality schmutter
that's going to last very long, more so the LNB, but who knows, maybe I was
ripped off going to a local satellite parts supplier.

Go to ebay yourself and see what the parts cost.

Yes, you can pay a lot more but the "cheap" parts works for millions of
Sky customers AND it will be same quality of parts you get when you call
in your local installer for the £100/120

True, mine shows the senders email by default so it is relatively easy
to see who's who.

When I join a thread that Mr Wright is in I normally add to my signature
something to the effect of " Bill, a different one" or similar remark to
make people aware. I've been using the same signature since before
1998. and have grown rather used to it, so for those who can't see
enough of their headers to realise who they are replying to, tough, I'm
sticking as "Bill".

Poor show though if someone starts to argue with someone else purely on
a short form Christian name in a signature.

Good man, names are so last year. I can't wait for the day when we are
all known by our postcodes, so much simpler.

In fact surely everyone is already known by their NI number, and before much
longer their National Database number.

It is all in the database, you know.

Perhaps there is another Bill in this group, hence the confusion?

No, I don't think so.
