Wakey, wakey, Charles, that's probably what Brian said, and his help

Will it get renamed Chevette?
"fred" wrote in message ... In article , Rod Keith writes Yesterday I was asked by two people about a new channel that is coming on soon. Both said they had seen the channel advertised on another TV channel. Does anyone know what they are talking about? Neither of them knew what the channel was going to be about, or what it was called etc.... Can some kind soul enlighten me as to this new channel that everyone seems to know about, but don't have any proper details of? I have searched around but have failed to find any more details. Last night the name 'Fanfare' was mentioned, but that might be way off, as the chap who mentioned it was not at all sure..... VIVA, Ch21? It's certainly been TV advertised, looks like a re-brand of TMF. -- fred BBC3, ITV2/3/4, channels going to the DOGs |

"Java Jive" wrote in message ... cream cricketed. I think 'cream cricketed' is a lovely expression. It must mean that delicous state when you are physically exhaused after cricket on the village green, and you settle down for your strawberries and cream. Bill |

Indeed :-( I'd rather watch a TV station called Dave than one called UK TV G2. I don't watch TV stations; I watch the programmes, and the channel is an utter irrelevance. I am sort of in-between. I don't like Sky 1 the station but I like a lot of the programs they put on. so I watch them despite them being on Sky 1. ( mostly American programs I have not liked much of sky's original programming) I Like channel 4 but have not watched much lately. Gary |

But at the same time that they changed their name they changed the content that they broadcast. Now they show mostly repeats of very popular programmes. It's no wonder that they are doing well, and nothing to do with being called Dave or being the so called home of witty banter. -- Mark Myers usenet at mcm2007 dot plus dot com I call that a radical interpretation of the text. |
