I would like to know if DVB-T in Greece is identical with UK one or
different and where the differences if any.

Thanks,

Scott

Peter,

Yes, it is. Thanks for your help.

In Wikipedia, it says "It is broadcasting Free-To-Air without any
subscription cost, requiring only a generic DVB-T set-top box.". In DVB
Worldwide, it says "The commercial broadcasters will use the MPEG-4 AVC
compression format, which it is thought will be likely to encourage ERT to
change its compression format from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 AVC.". In the UK, DVB-T
is using MPEG-2 and not sure MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 is a generic DVB-T.

In addition, both indicate that UK is using MHEG-5 and while Greece using
MHP as interactive mode.

Thus, UK set-top boxes seem not to be compatible in Greece.
