My Philips PVR with built in freeview tuner has has a few TV channels
missing off a specific mux. Multiplex C I can get E4+1 and Sky Sports News but NOT Dave, Sky3 or Sky News. I have tried a few rescans since the required rescans recently and all other TV channels seem fine. I have a loft aerial with Proception masthead amplifier, from this I use 3 aerial feeds to three different digital boxes with the other two being fine. Signal strength/quality shows fine on all three boxes including the Philips PVR and picture stability seems fine. Is there a reason a specific mux could display only some of the TV programs carried. When I had to re-scan, my Philips DTR1500 missed exactly the same set of
channels. I was prepared to junk it, given it's age, lack of proper EPG support, etc. but to my surprise an 'add channels' scan grabbed the missing channels, and all is well again. If that doesn't help you could perhaps try a 'factory reset' to see what happens, or maybe contact Philips UK to see what they say. I had a similar issue with my Ferguson FPVR1T, some of the channels would not get any info on the EPG. I had to do a full software reset then rescan to get everything working again. -- Tony |

I tried a factory reset to no avail.
On my machine there seems no difference between 'add channels' and initial install but I will give it another go.
