Default Virgin1 - audio interference

So I'm sat at home today not feeling too good (man flu) and flicking
through the channels I thought I'd give Star Trek:enterprise. There's
an interference on the audio almost like static 'clicking'. Most
annoying to the point where I can't really enjoy the programme. Any
ideas? Problem at source? No other channels seem thus affected.

But Virgin1+1 is fine...... I've bunged 'em an email anyway just to
see if anything happens.

At 1915 there was a brief flash of empty screen, and the
snicksnicksnick stopped.

Phew - it was getting very annoying ....

Swapover of playout equip. maybe ?
